All Boy injection machines have a completely hydraulic operation. The use of pumps with variable displacement controlled electronically, ensures smooth and efficient consumption of energy. A pressure transducer patented by Boy with integrated valve function, makes it unnecessary to use pumps for maintenance of the pressure, reducing energy consumption.
It has been shown that the temperature of the oil has a greater effect on the quality of the molded parts. For this reason, the temperature of the oil is controlled on the basis of points of fixation as a standard feature for new injection machines.
Comparative measurements have resulted a standard deviation extremely 0.14% decline in relation to the "temperature controlled feeding area" option.
Considerably larger deviations for weight piece are obtained if the temperature fluctuations are controlled: expressed deviations of the measured values are up to 0.5%.
