Laboratories Calier, one of the companies that form the Indukern group, is dedicated to the research, development and commercialization of products for veterinary use, with a wide international projection.
Founded in 1969, since then it has observed a progressive and continuous growth that has aupado it to the first places in the ranking of the sector in Spain, where 28 companies participate and compete all multinationals operating in this area of health.
Calier laboratories oriented their activities to research, development and marketing of veterinary products with target animal production as well as specialties intended for pets with a range for horses.
Production lines, thus, extends from oral forms, in their various options, to the injectable.
Antibacterial, antiparasitic, vaccines, regulators of hormonal activity, vitamins, nutritional products, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory drugs, cosmetics, etc. they are part of the armamentarium Calier puts at the disposal of the veterinarian for care, health and animal welfare. Currently, the catalogue contains more than 100 products, following the GMP, whose certification was obtained in 1995.
Be widely present in the international market has always been one of the desires of Calier and the efforts to this end allowed, currently in more than 70 countries on five continents using its products, well through the existing subsidiaries 9 or its network of distributors.
The Calier effort in the areas of manufacturing, development and innovation has allowed to consolidate an important I & D department where 25 technicians perform one exciting, any work in close collaboration with the 20 public research centres with which there are signed agreements for the development of new specialties.
This business policy and the excellent results obtained in I & D have deserved a major public recognition, being awarded to laboratories Calier the "award innovation technology" in the 1999 Edition.
Currently biotechnology applications in Animal health, are perhaps the main bet of Calier in defining their business development strategies, devoting a good part of its resources to innovation in this field.
