Balers Giant: with a recogedor of 2,25 m of width
The model 1290 XD of Fendt is able to produce bales of 1,2 x 0,88 m and shares a lot of common components and very tested with other balers inside the range. The meaning of XD: ‘Extra Density', means that it reaches between a 15 and 20% more than density that the model of empacadora standard Fendt 1290. This model conserves all those characteristic that his owners and operators sue: simplicity, longevity, greater reliability and greater productivity with some low costs of maintenance.
To achieve greater weight of bale and increase the productivity, have optimised several appearances in the XD. During the development considered paramount reinforce the transmissions, like the group of main transmission, the chains and gears. Especially, the new steering wheel empacadora XD, that weighs 545 kg, is almost twice heavier that the standard version. The new bielas of the piston guarantee a safe transfer of the highest strengths. In group, this allows to exert greater strength on the piston.
Also they have entered several improvements in the structural frame, the camera of bales, to increase the resistance. Between them, a camera of bales 40 longer cm, hydraulics cylinders more resistant and gates reinforced in the camera of bales. Another example is the point of pivote of the lateral gates, that has situated further back to increase the resistance in the sides.
The empacadora 1290 XD will be available in two configurations: feeding of fork or Packer (N) and feeding of rotor or Cutter (S).
