Molecor participates in the project of reusing water from Miraflores de la Sierra

For the more than 3\1km\2 of length to build in the project of Miraflores will use pipes of PVC Oriented TOM in his range of purple colour and with diameters comprised between 90 and 200 mm. Thanks to his new and patented process of manufacture, the pipe TOM offers multiple advantages in front of the pipes of ductile smelting, as they are the best behaviour in front of hits of ariete, increasing asi the hygiene of the network, the effective design of his glasses, that guarantees a perfect estanqueidad, the high resistance in front of the corrosion, the greater hydraulics capacity and the greater performance of installation.

The works of Miraflores form part of the project “Madrid Dpura”, set up by the Community of Madrid and the Channel of Elizabeth II does several years. This plan is based in the improvement of the systems of purification, the creation of new infrastructures for reutilizar the water regenerated and the reuse of the waste and slimes of purification. His final aim is to have of 70 hectómetros cubic annual with which irrigate 9.000 hectares of public green zones, fields of golf and baldeo of streets, benefiting to more than 2.500.000 inhabitants of some 65 municipalities.

During the last years, the Channel of Elizabeth II has opted for employing the PVC-Or in many of the networks executed because of the technical and economic advantages that offers in front of other materials.
