Migsa obtained certification for the manufacture and sale of rotary valves for use in potentially explosive atmospheres
on March 17, 2011
As a prelude to the certification of the company, and in pursuance of article 9 of Directive 94/9/CE European, Migsa obtained the certification of the rotary valves with the German certification body Dekra Exam GmbH. The rotary valves were subjected to an explosion with an overpressure of 14.4 bar maximum load (according to EN 15089), and hydraulic testing to 26 bar (according to 14460: 2006).
As a result of these trials the rotary valve EXplosionproof Migsa complies with the characteristics of explosive of the majority of solid materials, especially for powders with an Explosivity Index TS1 and TS2, being a security equipment approved for coup explosion and passage of flame. The achievement of this new design, along with the launch of the Hygienic range, comes to meet the goal of the company's offer to the market a complete range of equipment for the handling of solids in bulk, with the most demanding and current requirements.
