The Cetenma of Murcia design seven new wastewater treatment plants
December 16, 2010
The assignment to the Cetenma has been based on the one hand to study the existing technologies of water treatment for possible application to the industry that generates effluents with particular pollutants characteristics and, on the other hand, in drawing up seven pilot sites for the implementation of the purification technologies selected.
In this way, designed pilot plants are modular and can be connected between them, making possible the combination of different technologies.
This murcian Centre was commissioned to study and evaluate the pilot plant construction to investigate how to treat sewage generated in the steel area due to its experience in purification technologies.
With the introduction of these plants, the Luxembourg company arcelor-mittal will have a range of treatment technologies for assessing the various cases of treatment of effluents, depending on wastewater obtained after the steel manufacturing.
