Highly flexible caperuzas and saving tolerances of diameters protect cylindrical exterior contours

Pöppelmann presents one of its latest additions to its standard Kapsto program: its protective caperuzas NSG 211, designed to protect the cylindrical exterior contours of bolts, tubes, hoses, for example, of possible damage. They are manufactured by injection on TPE, a highly elastic thermoplastic elastomer, pigmentation in a yellow striking. Basically, these caperuzas offset, thanks to the nominal diameter, up to large tolerances between + 1 and + 2 mm. As they adapt easily to the contours of the workpiece to protect, they are suitable for application in pipes with rings external, sensitive to the pressure. These pieces are trained to withstand permanent temperatures up to 120 ° C and resist short-term temperatures up to 150 ° C.

The new caperuzas protective, available in 17 versions are useful for contours with external diameters between 4 to 26 mm. Normally, the length of the cowl is 20 mm, in individual cases up to 30 mm. The skirt of seals on the open end of the CAP ensures a firm grip, prevents the entry of contaminants and serves at the same time to maintain a certain distance between the CAP and the outline of the piece to protect. The Reed designed ergonomically, of approximately 15 mm in length, allows dismounting quickly and effortlessly.
