Hanna Instruments presents in Smagua his new measurer of pH, conductivity and oxygen dissolved
14 March 2014
The new Edge is defined by Hanna Instruments as “the pHmetro more innovative of the world”. It stands out by his lightness (lower weight of 250 gr) and by his fineness (a thickness of hardly 1,25 cm). It enjoys of a wide screen LCD of 5.5” with tactile keyboard in the screen.
The Edge measures pH, conductivity and oxygen dissolved by means of digital electrodes. It has automatic recognition of electrode where informs of the type of sensor, calibration and number of series. They connect easily to the Edge by means of a connector ‘plug in' of 3,5 mm. The design of Edge allows so much have it in a hand, in the table of the laboratory or in the wall.

The Edge simplifies the measures, configuration, calibration, diagnostic, register and transfer of data to the computer or to an USB-pen drive. One of the characteristics of the Edge is the exclusive system Cal-Check of warning if the electrode used is not clean or if the solutions have been contaminated during the calibration. In the cases of sensors with ‘matching pin' the Cal-Check also warns if the membrane of the electrode is broken or if the point of union is obstructed.
