Treatment and control of water for companies
Reuse and treatment of industrial effluents (liquid waste, or fluids mixed with solid, from the production plants) to minimize the consumption of water in enterprises; the technology of membranes (debugging without chemical additives and low energy consumption); the bioreactors of membrane for treatment plants (system that combines the membranes with processes of purification by micro-organisms), etc. These are some of the new technologies that offer today to different companies public research groups and deprived of the Catalan industry of purification and reuse of water.
"Technological solutions available to SMEs" is a forum for discussion and communication between the research world and the company. His philosophy is that companies cannot be maintained out of new technologies and trends in corporate governance; they will provide technology and organization to remain at the highest level in a global market, as well as on-site experience these new technologies and trends and case studies of its implementation in enterprises. And this is precisely what gives them the Forum.
Its practical and dynamic, format had four research centres and two companies specializing in the sector of the treatment and control of water, which presented its technological implementation projects specific to the companies in this field. -Generating technology partners presented in a paper of 30 minutes each one, a particular technological solution from the técnico-práctico point of view and their actual implementation in enterprises.
The day featured the following presentations:
• Minimisation and improving efficiency in the consumption of water for industries. Studies on recovery and reuse of water for industrial processes and purified water. David Galí and Mireia merchant. Technological Center Leitat.
• Development of membrane technology to recover or remove products in industrial flows. Joan Llorens, University of Barcelona (UB). Josep Maria Oliver, Deisa.
• Reuse and recycling of liquid effluents. María Isabel Iborra, María Isabel Alcaina and José Antonio Mendoza. The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) Prometheus group.
• Design and implementation of sewage treatment plants for bioreactor of membranes for reuse of the effluent. Sergi Lluch, Hera kneaded, S.A.
• Manufacture of Ceramic MF/UF Membranes slip coating of large-format for specific applications in water treatment. Joan a. Cusidó. Polytechnic Institute Campus in Terrassa - Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC-IPCT).
