Rhenus Begins the construction of a big logistical centre in the area of Paris

The new platform, of 12 metres of height, has designed to be able to house any type of storage (containers, complete loads, palés, etc.) as well as to optimise the internal movements inside the warehouse. It will have 27 docks and a network of roads that communicate with the warehouse that will have an upper capacity to the 50.000 palés.
As it has explained Emmanuel Bonet, director of Development of Business of Rhenus Logistics France, “are reinforcing our presence in the metropolitan area of Paris and, by extension, in France, thanks to this investment. We can offer to our customers services of high quality in some installations adapted to the last innovations in logistical solutions, applicable so much to the simplest tasks as to the most complex”.
The new centre will be located in the main area of logistical business of the country Frenchman, beside the main knots of terrestrial communications and of the international airport Chat of Gaulle, one of the main hub of commodities of Europe. It is foreseen that in the month of May inaugurate the first of the five phases of the platform, of 5.600 metres cuadraods. They will follow him other two phases before it finish the year, in November.
