The development of business floor, of vital importance for the Galician economy

The Board of the Xunta approves Xestur capital increase

The Board of the Xunta of Galixia authorized the past October at Instituto Galego da Vivienda and only the subscription of the capital increase of the public company Xestur Pontevedra, reaching a total amount of EUR 4.5 millionof which 2.792.700 correspond to the IGVS. The rest of the capital of Xestur Pontevedra increase corresponds to the Xunta (1.431.450 euros) and the Diputación Provincial de Pontevedra (275.850 euros).

This is already the second capital increase carried out in Xestur Pontevedra from the change of Government in Galicia. The first enlargement took place at the end of 2009, for a total of EUR 4.5 million.

With this capital increase, the IGVS will continue with the majority of the capital of Xestur (62,06%), while the Ministry of economy and facenda has 31,81% of capital and the Provincial Council of Pontevedra of 6.13%.

The Board of the Xunta de Galicia declared supramunicipal incidence sectoral Pasaxe industrial park project, the woman of Gondomar and Vigo, and determined that it is for the Ministry of the environment, territory and infrastructure, through the IGVSthe momentum and processing of such sectoral project. This sectoral project aims the Pasaxe industrial urban development management, for land to be used for the settlement of new industries, as well as all equipment support to these, with provision of all necessary services.

Pasaxe is an industrial area of concentration of productive activities, prepared on a territorial area of 60 hectares, located strategically between the woman of Gondomar and Vigo. This polygon coalesce industries installed privately and others through concessions of the community Montes, Gondomar, in addition to private owners who are waiting to develop the site to install your activity. They are now implemented in the area around 80 companies that lack the infrastructure needed for the correct development of the activities.

This action presents a number of features which justify its public interest and social utility, including:

Contribution to sustainable development. The sectoral project will equip the industries established in the area now of the infrastructure necessary to carry out their activities in accordance with the current parameters of sustainability and respect for the environment, and taking into account that only development is possible through efficient management to make a profitable project economically. The business park of Pasaxe is configured as a complex of economic activities to the extent which is an area of concentration of economic and business activities of multifunctional character. In addition, plays a strategic role, in close relationship with the logistic node in the area of Vigo and its relationship with the Atlantic axis. It consists of a fundamental económico-territorial staffing for the articulation of the regional economy.

Located in a central and strategic area of a regional nature, the business park of Pasaxe articulates spaces of relation between dynamic economic varied, providing a range of qualities and competitividades at the regional and supraregional level, coordinating activities with other areas and polygons conventional. It will be a high-quality business outline, emerged from a degraded industrial outline and without the necessary infrastructure. It will allow the concentration of new operational and representative of companies in addition to the existing activities, that you allow to reach high levels of quality building, landscape and urban planning.

The estimated cost of the performance is approximately 31.634.804,26 euros.

Recently, the Minister of environment, territory and infrastructures, Agustín Hernández, announced the House of the Parliament of Galicia that in the coming months will take place the final adoption of the sectoral project of the industrial estate of Tamagos, in the City Council of Verín. At his hearing, Hernandez said that currently, the Galician Institute of housing and land is by dealing with the sectoral project this park and added that at the beginning of next year will be dealing with the expropriation proceedings for the purchase of two areas that were not acquired by mutual agreement.

At the moment, the project already has the favourable reports from the City Council of Verín, the Provincial deputation of Ourense, the General direction of mountains and forest industry, the Directorate-General for public works and the Directorate-General for quality and environmental assessment. Only today are to receive the reports of the General Directorate of Cultural heritage, which asked for further examinations in the existing deposits; the Confederation River basin of the Douro, which called for a new hydrological study and the extension of the concession granted to the City Council to conduct a study of flood for the next 500 years. The demarcation of roads of the State of Galicia must also issue a new report after that request the sending of the constructive project for the road link for this business area; and finally, the Directorate General of IUCN.

It should be noted that "the Xunta Galicia will develop the business park of Tamagos as what makes the law and as a result it has consiguido that public funds have the destination that makes them the law, something that was not always this way in this project of Tamagos", said Agustin Hernández.

Today, Xestur Ourense has acquired a total of 941.660 square meters of land, which represents approximately 75% of the total surface area of this park. The estimated total area is 1.263.581 square meters. The Galician Government wants to develop this initiative determined that its first phase will be a reality in the shortest possible time. This intention can be checked in Xestur Ourense budgets for 2011, where a game of 5.239.555 euros for the development of the Park of Tamagos is collected and in the of the own IGVS, telling for next year with another item to this same area of 511.750 euros.
