Enric Lacalle, President of the Hall, was presented at a press conference the next edition, accompanied by Manuel Royes, special delegate of the State to the consortium of the zone Franca Barcelona (CZFB).
In statements to the media, Enric Lacalle reaffirmed the position of the SIL as an event of international reference, which "is in the European League of logistics fairs". According to Lacalle, this has been possible to consolidate the event as "a bridge of a world benchmark and reference in Europe".
For its part, Manuel Royes stressed the importance of the salon, "which has established itself as one of the most important of which are made in Europe".
As in previous editions, SIL bet a year more for internationalization and is positioned as a meeting point of the logistics chain in the South of Europe. As an example, Lacalle has highlighted the presence in the major 2008 SIL and personalities, including the Minister of transport of Algeria, Mohamed Maghlaoui, the Transport Minister, Morocco, Karim Ghellab, and the President of the Union of Greek Chambers and Commerce of IstanbulMurat Yalcintas. In this regard, he noted that "in the SIL is represented all over the world." "In this edition we will count with the presence of 1,000 participating companies distributed over 85,000 square metres between the palaces 2 and 3 of the Gran via exhibition".
The living room looms, once again, as the great logistical showcase of the South of Europe. For a decade, exhibitors and visitors involved commercial activities and business, cornerstones of the meeting.
