The population of Gavà, with a high degree of entrepreneurial corporatism, is a key location for the headquarters of companies established in Catalonia as relevant as a rock, Acerinox, furniture factory, Rehau, the Mall Barnasud, among others. For this reason it is not strange that the installation of new companies be constant in recent times. This growth is justified by the proximity of major logistical infrastructure and communication: the port of Barcelona, El Prat Airport, the road network (C-32 Highway, the comarcal C-245 road, the autovía of Castelldefels C-31) and public transport (the line of cercanías of RENFE and the buses that connect with Barcelona and pass by) (other neighboring cities as Viladecans, Sant Boi de Llobregat, el Prat de Llobregat, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Begues and Castelldefels).
According to a study by market drawn up by the own property consultant Forcadell, with data from the fourth quarter of 2006, the price of an industrial building for sale in Gavà ranges from 1,332 and 1,710 euros per square meter. In case that it is rental, requested income is currently between 73.26 minimum and a maximum of 94.05 EUR per square metre per year depending on the location, the surface and benefits of each building in particular.
