The steering of BCL reinforces so that Barcelona win weight like international logistical pole

The general assembly of Barcelona-Catalonia Centre Logístic (BCL) approved the new statutes of the association, that adapt to the model proposed by the Law of Associations and those that expand his executive committee, the maximum organ of representation and administration of BCL, to turn into it a more transversal organ and with a greater representation of all the industrial states and logistical and of the administrations.
BCL Initiates like this a new stage that coincides with the presidency of Jordi Cornet, special delegate of the State in the Consorci of the Frank Zone of Barcelona that it was appointed president the past month of December. Cornet And the managerial team of BCL is working to incorporate to the association all the administrations involved in the transport and the logistics, the business associations and very especially the private companies generadoras, borrowers and users of logistical services.

The current executive committee of BCL will be able to now have until 30 members that come from essentially of the industrial states and logistical, and in this sense have appointed executive vice-presidents of BCL the business representatives Enric Crous, general director of Damm, and Ramon Walls, vice-president of R.i.de Seat-Volkswagen, signatures of big exporting activity and logistical weight.
Other representatives of companies and of entities that also have incorporated to the executive committee of BCL are Josep Tejedo, general director of Mercabarna, Josep Maria Massanella, general director of Meroil, Ginés Alarcón, general director of the Fundació Mobile, Joaquim Gay, president of Foment of the Treball and Josep Maria Calmet, member representative of the Consulados of Catalonia and Spain.
In the meeting of BCL remarked the intention to reinforce the weight of the Barcelonan logistical pole to international level, mission that will facilitate also with the incorporation to BCL of representatives of the Consular Body of Barcelona, that will facilitate the diffusion of the logistical importance of Barcelona and also will be able to contribute to the business accompaniment in the commercial exchanges with the outside and in the commercial missions countries that represent consularmente.
The assembly also has been informed of the follow-up of the Program of Innovative Business Groupings, by what BCL has received a subsidy of the Ministry of Industry, and that reinforces diverse strategic actions of BCL.
