The SCS (Schäfer Carousel System) has been especially developed for the exigencias increasingly complex of the modern warehouses. Like isolated solution or in combination with other systems of storage and manufacturing of requests, offers a safe manipulation with heights of error practically invalid, time of picking very reduced for a wide range of products, high performance, and a maximum saving of time during the manufacturing of requests thanks to the processing in parallel.
The SCS standard consists in four carruseles giratorios, endowed each one of them of a device elevador frontal that acts of extractor automatic independent. The density of storage of the system does that they reach the 6.000 locations of containers in a space reduced, although the possibility of subdividir said containers allows to increase the number of references stored until the 96.000. This, in combination with our systems of transport and the most modern technology of control, confers to the system the possibility to reach the 1.000 picks by hour. The tested systems of carriers like the carruseles can handle containers and trays of dimensions 600 x 400 mm of base and of variable heights with an individual weight maximum of 25 kg.
