A reference in manufacture by contribution of material

The current range of machines bases in designs of third generation, obtained after several years of investigation detailed of the markets of the main collaborators and customers, that are the avant-garde of the systems of manufacture. The main functions, with some considerable improvements with regard to the previous models, include variable supply of dust, content ultra-low of oxygen in the atmosphere of manufacture and a system inigualable of safe change of filter that minimises the contact of the personnel with the materials.

The range composes of the models SLM250 and SLM125, both with technology of empty and low consumption of gas. The machine has been designed for the maximum ease of use in the surroundings of manufacture, has of an interface with tactile screen and several options of menu that allow to prepare and clean the machine. The maximum priority has been the robustness of the machine, adopting an approach of ‘Machine-Tool' regarding his use and maintenance. The cost of the expendable has reduced by means of a care design and new functions, like the soft blade reaplicadora that can turn several times before substituting it, or the elements of filtered of low cost, until a low consumption of gas —that combined, contribute to the reliability of the system and to a low cost of maintenance—.

The systems SLM of Renishaw have processed always a wide selection of materials, and the new range is not an exception, but with additional advantages, like the fast change of materials in the unit SLM125, by means of a system of feeding of material type cassette, or the removable hopper in the unit SLM250; of particular use for the development of materials or for materials in series. The capacity to process with material security reagents, like titanium and aluminium, is a characteristic of series in the machines SLM of MTT. Specifically, the blade of the gas, that withdraws the broadcasts of carbonilla reactive and the plate accumulated hot, both necessary previous requirements for the correct processing of the materials.

The two new machines are instrumented with a camera of empty entirely soldered, that allows the evacuation to low pressure, followed of a recarga of gas argon of high purity. The tax of consumption of gas, after the initial flood of the camera, is extremely low, and allows an operation with concentrations of oxygen underneath of the 50 parts by million, —a crucial factor for the processing of reactive materials, like the titanium and the aluminium that, besides, contributes significantly to the integrity of the materials and the improvement of the performance—.

All the preparation of the archive complete without connection by means of a series of interfaces, with the software Marcam Autofab or with Materialise Magics. Once completed, the archive generated loads in the machine by means of a connection of safe network or a direct connection. The trazabilidad of the product has been improved with the inclusion of series of the processing of data and the register of events, in addition to distinct options of control of available additional processes under application.
