As printers that are not protected can suffer costly damage caused by spills, normally require the use of boxes or covers for washing, which is impractical and entails the loss of time that workers could be devoted to other tasks.
Another issue is problematic among manufacturers is that printers and drivers must disconnect from the line when it comes to preparing them for washing, which can be up to an hour of inactivity: a fact costly and impractical.
The Macsa solution is to create a cassette of washing especially designed with IP65 rating that is inserted in place of a standard tape before the cleaning cassette. This quick and simple process takes place in a matter of seconds and sella printer providing maximum protection, which allows to leave it in the packaging machine receiving during the washing process.
At the same time, the printer driver has been redesigned to make the classification IP55, once the connectors on the basis of the printer have protective caps instead, something that is fast and easy to do. The new version has the same width as the driver of the standard TT5, in a way that can adapt to the existing supports.
Typical applications for the washable printer TT5 industries are food, including meat, fish and frozen, where washing have is essential to meet the standards of hygiene.
Multiple tests on the ground in UK, USA and Germany facilities have confirmed that the washable printer TT5 is suitable for combat of fluid and particulate entry into this type of environments.
"The efficiency of factory is paramount and washing is an operation that can be improved by easily reducing discomfort and associated costs," explains Raul grace, commercial Director of Macsa. "The launch of washable printer TT5 provides the means to carry out fast, flexible and secure processes of washing to various sectors, including that of food."
