Andrei Stapinoiu, new managing director, Nordson EDI Europe

Nordson EDI has risen to Andrei Stapinoiu to the position of director of Nordson EDI Europe, NV, Godfrey Sandham, Vice President and general manager of Nordson EDI has announced.

Stapinoiu will oversee all operations in Europe and will be responsible for growing the company in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In a plant expanded recently and with the latest technology in Temse, Belgium, Nordson EDI Europe manufactures new flat heads and related systems for film, foil, extrusion coating and coating of fluid, and remanufactures or remodel existing extrusion heads.

"Andrei has played a central role in the growth of our business in Europe, Middle East and Africa and learn about international extrusion and conversion of continuous material industries," Sandham said. "It will bring strong leadership to Nordson EDI Europe expands its product portfolio, to provide heads of American and European design, and assisting customers with technical services, spare parts and remodeling more spacious".

Prior to this promotion, Stapinoiu was director of sales in Europe of Nordson EDI, a position he has held since 2010. He joined the company as Director of sales in Europe in 2007; It came from EGS Gauging Ltd. (formerly Eurotherm), a supplier of measurement and control for continuous material processes. He worked in this company for five years as director of sales and marketing for Central Europe and Middle East and West, Russia. In his previous positions with other industrial companies took responsibility for business development and sales, and oversaw projects in Middle East and Europe.

Stapinoiu has a master of science in the specialization of management by the Purdue University in the USA and graduated in Marketing and sales with a master's degree in business administration from the University of Budapest. Speaks English, French, Russian and their native language, Romanian.
