The sensors of hygiene BNS 260 of Schmersal Iberian are compact and encoded, especially designed for the control of doors of hygiene like alternative to the traditional electromechanical switches.

His reduced size allows them a perfect integration in the structure of the machinery and, besides, can employ in rigorous environingingmental conditions as well as in applications that require a high level of hygiene. When working without contact, are not subjects to the mechanical wear, what confers them an useful life extremely long.

Combined with a module of control of hygiene adapted, these sensors fulfil the requirements of the category of control 4 as IN 954-1 or the level 3 of SIL according to IEC 61508.

Besides, they are indicated for applications of the class M of PDF as IN 60204-1. For the evaluation of the signals can employ different modules of control of hygiene of the series AES of the Group Schmersal.

The user can choose between 1 contact NA / 1 contact NC and 2 contacts NC. The contact of signaling can be NA or NC. Regarding the terminal, exist also several options. A LED optional indicates the state of conmutación. For applications in which the sensor have to mount in a position turned 90°, is available a special version of actuator with active lateral surface.

The distance of conmutación (Sao = 5 mm, Sar = 15 mm) of the BNS 260 covers perfectly the exigencias of the typical applications of control of position of doors of hygiene.

The BNS 260 tolerates an elder unfit between the profile of the machine and the door, what supposes a quality more than this sensor that favours the productivity.
