Ceramic heaters: high-temperature devices

Picture of Ceramic heaters
Also called "glow plugs NHTC" (New High Temperature Ceramic) presented the entire element heating in ceramic.

They reach an operating temperature of 1,000 ° C in 2 seconds and may have a residual glow of up to 10 minutes and up to 1350 ° C. This means that they remain incandescent in phases of push or during the regeneration of a particle filter and that during that period they minimize particulate emissions.

They have been specially developed to help automobile manufacturer compliance with Euro 4 and Euro 5 exhaust gas standards. One of the objectives of the standard is to reduce the degree of compression on diesel engines.

Even at low compression levels ensure optimum lighting, and they can also be intermediate heating in a controlled manner to prevent cooling of the particulate phases of push filter.
