Unimotor fm is the range of AC servomotors brushless high-performance designed to be used with drives Unidrive SP. 'fm' stands for "flexible engine" (flexible engine), whose design is adapted to a wide variety of applications. The engines are available in seven sizes of frame with different types of Assembly, motor lengths and a wide range of feedback options.
Applications: Unimotor fm is a range suitable for applications requiring precise movements or dynamic control.
These are some typical applications: • high speed machines • linear and rotary cutters • manipulators • material • handling applications press • textile machinery advantages: • Unimotor fm adapts easily to accept all feedback devices catergory. It has installed an incremental encoder series, which offers an optimum balance between cost and performance. It is possible to select encoders seno-coseno to increase the resolution. Using resolver feedback is also available for greater reliability in extreme environments.
• Max torque performance allows to use smaller engines where the RMS value is low but the maximum torque is high.
• Motors Unimotor fm with optional centrifugal fan, the motor and the fan housing to form a fully assembled structure. The objective is to ensure performance in all the torque range, which improves the behaviour with possible higher rms values.
• Offer a variety of cables already made for a fast and easy connection to Control Techniques drives.
• There are available versions of inertia to tune the inertia of the motor to the load inertia for more performance and stability.
• Environmental protection IP65 provides serial, and ATEX protection is available optionally.
• Integrated engine brakes are also available optionally, with the possibility of choosing a parking brake or a brake with high power dissipation.
