Europastry Receives the Prize to the Best Business Initiative of 2013 of the Ministry of Health

The aim of Europastry has been to elaborate bread reduced in salt in a series of products already existent in the market, substituting 0,5% of salt on flour (on a total of 1,8%). Having like reference the per capita half consumption, this change involves a reduction of the consumption of corresponding salt to 0,5 daily grams per person for the consumers of this bread.
During 2013, Europastry has relanzado to the market several references of bread reduced in salt and source of potassium. Along the next years all the special breads of the company will be reduced in salt. This initiative shows once again the commitment of Europastry with the health of the consumers. The company has carried out diverse initiatives standing out that it was the first of his sector in deleting of his products of bollería the fats hydrogenated, or sour grasos trans.
The profits of a modest reduction of salt in products of big consumption are notorious and have been put in evidence by numerous studies.
