Siemens Industry Software supplies licences CAD and CAM to centres of FP of the Basque Country

Siemens Industry Software, unit of business of Siemens Industry Automation Division, and provider of software and services for the gestión of the cycle of life of the product (PLM), has signed an agreement with the Basque Government for the supply of licences of CAD Solid Edge and CAM Expresses in centres of Professional Learning of the Basque Country.

On 9 July it formalised the signature of the agreement between the government and Siemens Industry Software, consolidating like this the narrow links between this company, the surroundings educacional and the Basque territory. “From Siemens Industry Software feel us very linked to the world of the education and this agreement is a reflection of the commitment of the company. The source of the future of Spain is in our schools, is thus that Siemens will follow working actively to promote this field”, indicates Joan Francàs, vice president & Managing director Spain and Portugal.

Simultaneously, Pixel Systems, technological partner of Siemens Industry Software, will be the attendant to cater the services associated to said softwares.
