Repol approaches the plastic skin
Group Repol (Almazora, Castellón) is a manufacturer and distributor of technical plastics. Manufacturing is carried out in Repol, S.L., and its range of products covers the polyamides Dinalon PA6, PA66 and PA6/PA66 for injection which also include a wide range of compounds custom and standard products of high quality.
Repol Group also sells a complete selection of technical polymers through its subsidiary AB Polymers. Thus, it also offers PC (Anjalon), PBT (Anjadur), PC/ABS (Anjablend A), PC/PBT (Anjablend B), POM (Kocetal) and TPE (Kopel).
Fire retardant polyamide without phosphorus and halogen
So far, the existing market fireproof reinforced polyamides containing either halogen or red phosphorus. Halogenated materials allow to obtain natural colours, but the mechanical properties of resin are something diminished with regard to the of not fireproof resins and also present disadvantages in regards to health and the environment.
Fire-resistant materials which contain red phosphorus, the existing so far, although in principle alternative are considered less harmful to environment and health problems, and their decline in properties with regard to the non-fire-retardant resins is less than the halogenated materialsthey have the disadvantage of being dark red, that is to say that not available with light-colored, white or natural materials.
High tenacity for demanding applications polyamides
The "Super tough" polyamides have a resistance to impact and flexibility top, presenting also optimal flow and anti-corrosion properties.
These materials are designed with high levels of technologically advanced reactive impact modifiers, and are available both in base PA6 as PA66.
Modified high-impact materials expand the possibilities of manufacturing parts of high-performance, as for example flanges of high-strength parts with unions type spring or housings for power tools. The polyamides Dinalon of high-impact, which are also offered as reinforced compounds and are available in a wide range of colors, are also suitable for a wide variety of low temperature applications.
For applications in addition to resistance to impact require a greater rigidity offers the Dinalon Medium Impact modified polyamides.
The Dry-Impact range, for its part, has been developed for applications that require some resistance to the impact but at the same time a low viscosity, allowing for example pieces of thin-walled injection.
