Sescoi launches version 7 of its WorkNC software

Sesoci has released the 17 version of its software WorkNC CAM that arose in the seminar organized by Iberia Sescoi the last day of December 21, 2004, with great satisfaction by users of WorkNC.

The grinding of high power path, designed for high-performance slab, includes additional enhancements in version 17. Now this optimized grinding machines also levels in the piece as part of the cutting operation. This is guaranteed to get the sobre-espesor desired both in flat areas and walls bent in a single operation, automatic and reliable. Developed for powerful machine tools, the grinding of high power works with 95% of the diameter of the tool up to deep areas to maximize the rate of elimination of metal. Crucially, it also includes movements in the form of Ribbon in the corners, to ensure that it not be residual material in these areas, and eliminates the corners stay that can be detrimental to the tool and the workpiece.

For parts with complex and rapidly changing topology, the new finish with step Variable allows to obtain a surface finish in a single operation, much more uniform. The thin walls of WorkNC machining is a new strategy which completes the roughing and finishing joint level by level, minimizing lateral forces and maximizing the stiffness of the piece until it machines completely at its lowest. This strategy is particularly useful for the manufacture of electrodes, where it is necessary to machining small and complicated forms.

The new machining of slots allows to automatically detect and machining slots open and closed as well as racing. For parts with multiple slots, this new cycle allows to simplify programming, descending ramp automatically in the piece in closed slots. The machining of nerves allows mechanising the sides of nerves from curves defined on a 3D surface or projected on a 3D surface, quickly mecanizing them, often under components in the automotive and aerospace sectors.

Roughing of pieces in multiple axes presents new problems when trying to maintain control over the remaining material after each operation.
