Siemens PLM Software and IDC organized a Conference for the automotive industry

Siemens plm Software, a business unit of Siemens Industry Automation Division, and global leading provider of software and services for the management of the life cycle of the product (PLM), organizes the conferences 'La automotive innovation' session, which will take place June 8 at the Hotel Can Bonastre Wine Resort of Masquefa, in Barcelona.
In a context in which the technologies of information and communication play a crucial role in the growth, efficiency and productivity, have become the basis for innovation and the development of new products for car manufacturers and suppliers of the industry, the sector making a basic pillar of the Spanish economy. In the current situation, the need to develop more value-added products, enter new even emerging markets and to minimize costs has become a key factor to be more competitive.
In the automotive market, innovation is essential. For this reason, major manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Daimler and Red Bull have decided to standardize the overall development of their cars with Siemens PLM Software. The commitment of these manufacturers to invest in ICT of Siemens PLM Software will enable improvements in productivity, common processes and a more effective global collaboration for the design and development of the product.
The seminar, which will take place on Wednesday 8 June, will start at 9 in the morning and conferences with speakers of luxury as Fernando Maldonado of IDC, Javier will be linking Pizarro of Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Ferrás Xavier of the Generalitat de Catalunya and Juan Manuel Delgado of Siemenes PLM Software. After the conferences will be a debate between IDC, Siemens, Generalitat de Catalunya, Siemens PLM, and Toro Rosso.
