Gaiker-IK4 explains the requirements before the fire of the materials in the CTE

The Center technological Gaiker-IK4 organized on 4 June the second edition of a few days in order to meet the technical requirements of the behavior to the fire of the materials of construction according to the technical building code (CTE) and the CE marking.
The current CTE, amended already on several occasions, was approved in 2006 as a new regulatory framework to establish the basic requirements of quality, safety and habitability of buildings and facilities, and is applicable to both new buildings and the refurbishment of existing ones. At the same time, the implementation of Directive 89/106/EEC on construction products, established essential requirements both for traditional materials as new ones such as plastics and composites.
However, there is a certain confusion among the various areas relating to the construction sector obliged to implement the existing legislation to new products and revisions to existing ones. For this reason, Gaiker-IK4 has organized the second edition of these days.

In this second meeting will delve deeply into the implications of the implementation of new legislation on the construction and the annexed areas, raw, design, etc., and will be presented new modifications to these laws. The new specifications include those relating to the conduct to the fire of the materials that will have a more particular treatment.
