Static mixers for extrusion and injection applications
In the injection moulding, problems such as the formation of bursts of color are often resolved by modifying the parameters of the machine. Many processors spend a considerable amount of time and effort by adjusting their processes in order to produce acceptable pieces in the shortest possible time. In the manufacture of parts with color, the problems of stretch marks that cannot be resolved by modifying parameters of the machine, often are arranged to increase the concentration of the dye, which inevitably entails an increase in the cost of production.

The conversion work is reduced to brief change of the existing mouthpiece by the SIB mouthpiece of Sulzer. In addition, nozzles with integrated filter to protect against obstructions hot channels for impurities or foreign bodies can be supplied.
Extrusion

The mixers can also be integrated into other processes of transformation of polymers.
