This machine will initially be used for the production of curtains covers baggage, to van, but its flexibility allowed in the future to produce other components for the automotive sector, such as soils in load, doors, etc.
A tool for cutting and welding of 'double effect' is used to make curtains covers baggage for vans and in the same cycle is also possible to perform RF welding and cutting of the perimeter of the product, without removing material from the tool, and ensuring the accuracy of the manufactured part.
The machine is composed of 2 overlapping automatic trays, with a size of 1400 x 1,600 mm, a press of RF welding of 4 columns with a force of closing up to 60 tonnes and a generator of radio frequency with an energy of 45 kW. The generator is located in a separate cabin.
The new features of the machine are two:
-The dimensions of the pieces that can be manufactured with this machine, thanks to a superior plate with a size of 1400 x 1,600 mm, allow the manufacture of products with dimensions ever reached by this company.
-The parameters of the power of RF of each product are entered into the menu of the touch screen in a Cartesian plane of energy/time, and it is possible to enter more than one point (P1T1, P2T2, P3T3…) to generate the graph for each process. This solution guarantees the repeatability of the pre-set of welding process as well as the quality of the manufactured product. We use a new software for the control of RF energy and advanced hardware to achieve these results.
The machine has been delivered to the client at the beginning of 2009 and may not be exposed in the event due to its large size and the agreement of confidentiality of both companies. However, the visitor can more information about the applications for the automotive sector and other sectors of the technology of radio frequency at the stand of the company.
