Guzmán polymers in Equiplast 2008

Present in EquiplastGuzmán polymers, pioneer in the market of domestic distribution of plastics engineering and general use, is exhibiting its latest in machinery.

Although the trade in raw materials is their main activity, Guzmán polymers, it represents in Spain several brands of machines for the processing of plastics, such as Rapid Granulator (mills), Wemo (robots) and Main Tech (peripherals and centralized systems of feeding, dosing and dehumidification) among others. Likewise, and as a novelty for this fair, will be the new electrical Fanuc Roboshot injection machine series B.

The overall philosophy of these injectors is based on the accuracy, repeatability and traceability with that Act, without forgetting its commitment to the environment and energy saving. In Equiplast 2008, Rapid Granulator launches new development of the 100 series with the latest addition to the mills to their rank 'heart-opened': the 600 series.

The 100 series of Rapid is a completely new line of low-speed, Mills without grid with detection of integrated metals ('Integrated Metal Detection' (IMD)), for applications on site, designed specifically for grinding hard and brittle materials. The catalogue of these teams comprise eight models base: the smallest to deal with rejections such as lava flows and remnants of the production of bearings and the larger capable of grinding components very large bumpers and dashboards, for example. All models are equipped with 'smooth mesh' to ensure operational stress absorption and prevent damage to the engine and gears.

Continuing the success of the series ' open heart ' 300, 400 and 500 ", the series 600 open heart has a diameter of rotor of 600 mm. and is available in three widths: 900, 1200 to 1500 mm. This simplifies radically the inspection, cleaning and maintenance, and reduces the time of cleaning more than 50 per cent.

With regard to the Italian firm of peripherals, Main Tech, for Equiplast is presented a new series of dehumidifiers tires and a volumetric dispenser for powder, aimed at the sector of the molding by injection and extrusion.

In the field of centralized facilities, Main Tech has been launched for the extrusion sector facilities specialized in transport and dosing of materials in dust, and large transport facilities and dosing of materials in pelletsespecially for lightweight materials which may have transport problems. For energy saving, centralized facilities of Main Tech equipped with constant monitoring of the management of the motor inverter. The application of the speed of the transport control is an optional that can be installed on any system of transport. Wemo over the last few years has focused its efforts in what have been called 'user friendliness', i.e., in trying to facilitate the management of their robots to the end user. With this new system of easily understandable and manageable control, you get significantly reduce programming time but also increases the security. The risk of erroneous programming is widely removed and therefore increases the efficiency of production, while reducing costs.

The new Eco Series, presented by Wemo, cover the basic needs of injection machines up to 1,300 tonnes of clamping force.
