Packaging in mould labelling system
IML process
Labelling in mold uses an injection unit and a system of positioned labels. Tags (plastic) is inserted in a vacuum by exact position or electrostatically.
They are subsequently molded into the closed mold and melt together with the plastic to maintain the limit of the Union between the two plastic etiqueta-pieza.
Finally the already molded parts are extracted from the fuel transfer wall and at the same time new tags are inserted in the Labor Party.
Currently, the length of cycle for these molded parts, most of them have very thin walls, ranges from 3 to 8 seconds that add other 0.3 and 1.5 seconds to insert and remove the pieces.
IML allows manufacturers to save time and money by integrating the tagging process directly in the production process. This approach of single-step offers a great advantage over traditional methods that allows the change of labelling of packaging without having to interrupt production.
Specially designed for high speeds of cycle in production processes and mainly specialized packaging containers and fine articles of wall and technicians where accuracy and repetition of the molding capacity are essential.
