Clariant Masterbatches looks to the future: design, security and respect for the environment
Clariant masterbatches Iberian will take advantage of its participation in the
Equiplast fair for two conferences on topics of greatest interest and current affairs in the plastic industry: solutions and trends in the packaging of the future, and the impact of the new Reach Regulation for transforming the plastic sector.
The manufacturer of concentrated color and additive commitment to respect for the environment, this time in the Equiplast Hall, presenting its new showcase of color Remafin film of polyolefin completely free of heavy metals, and the range of masterbatches for coloring of biodegradable polymers, Renol Natur, and recently presented at the K 2007.
Taking advantage of his presence at the fair, Mari Cruz García, head of the market of Packaging on Clariant masterbatches Iberian segment, will give his vision of the requirements on packaging and packaging of the future, and to submit, together with the above-mentioned new rangesthe revolutionary service that Clariant Masterbatches offers the design and the colouring of plastics in its center Milan ColorWorks and recently opened Tech Center of Cergy, in the vicinity of Paris. These centres provide a comprehensive service for users of brand and designers that allows the entire creative process of any plastic article coloured, from the design phase, to the development of prototypes in a time record. Constant commitment to sustainable development and the protection of the human being and the environment, Clariant masterbatches Iberian has devoted years many resources to the aspects of product safety, with specialists in all legislation affecting the plastic sector: from specific regulations in sectors such as automotive, applicable laws for the articles in contact with food. The recent entry into force of the Reach Regulation is the beginning of a new era for the European chemical industry. Clariant has participated actively in the consortium of partners in the elaboration of the rules of procedure, and therefore has experts in the field as Carlos Cifuentes, who will be the lecturer responsible for presenting the implications of Reach for the plastic sector supply chain.

The 21 October at 12 h in the 4.4 room of the center of 4 conventions of the Fira de Barcelona - Gran Via Precinct, will be presented "Solutions and trends in the packaging of the future", by M. Cruz García Application Support Packaging of Clariant masterbatches Iberian.
From October 23 to 12 h, also in the room 4.4., Carlos Cifuentes, Clariant masterbatches Iberian Product Safety Officer, will present 'Reach, much more than a regulation - view of its impact on the transformation of plastics'.
