New materials of high flux and high productivity of DSM
The new materials that have been presented have been:
-Akulon XP - HV PA6 for packaging applications.
-Akulon Ultraflow - PA6 for injection applications.
-Stanyl High Flow and Super Flow - PA46 for injection applications.
Akulon XP - HV PA6 for packaging applications
Akulon XP, is a viscous PA6 that allows high productivity during the transformation of films for packaging. Key benefits include lower narrows and less lateral meremas and effectiveness of the enhanced machine.
In addition, Akulon XP offers a better stability of the coil for greater speed of production, distribution of the thickness of the layer improved to reduce the material used and provides a better quality, a wider transformation window, reducing the time and providing a greater capacity and narrowing by shear, in such a way that requires less power of the engine at high reolvuciones.
Akulon XP is also ideal for thermoforming processes: improves the termoconformabilidad compared to the standard PA6, given that it presents best models of flatness in the corners and allows a greater elongation.
Akulon Ultraflow - PA6 for injection applications
Thanks to its excellent flow (80 per cent more of flow compared to the standard PA6), degrees of Akulon Ultraflow PA6 provide about 25 percent reduction of the cycle time and improve the quality of surface, especially for highly reinforced grades. This results in high productivity, lower cost of investment, greater design freedom and more opportunities for replacement of the metal.
Akulon Ultraflow is available in different degrees: 15-60% GF, 30-40% GF/ore, FR/ore, FR/GF. Akulon Ultraflow has been tested on almost all the applications in automotive, including the more critical as the covers for 'air bag'. In electric and electronic sector and industrial and consumer goods it is also found muchasaplicaciones.
Stanyl high flow and Super Flow - PA6 for injection applications
Thanks to its good pretaciones of flow, Stanyl PA46 is a polyamide of high temperature for innovative connectors designs. Savings through cycle times get shorter, a hardness and higher ductility and high rates of recycling and good mechanical properties. The introduction of Stanyl High Flow and Stanyl Super Flow offers opportunities for greater profit of transformation and benefits.
Stanyl Super Flow has been developed with manufacturers of connectors to provide an alternative to the High Flow LCP (liquid crystal polymer).
