Exhibition of research, development and innovation

A total of 63 exhibiting companies presented at the fair for research, development and innovation, held between May 30 and June 1 at the Feria de Valencia, products, services and solutions related to the research, development and innovation. At the same time, the venue also hosted the fourth edition of the Congress innovation and design in SMEs.

The fair of research, development and innovation, Idinova, an annual initiative that brings together quality services to the company was held from 30 May to 1 June. Throughout the three days, managers of companies, engineers, purchasing managers, responsible for product development and responsible design attended the presentation of products and services of 63 (61 national and 2 foreign) companies to help design and develop new products, from its conception to marketing, as well as improve the quality of production and minimize costs.

In order to offer SMEs the latest innovations and solutions related to the research, development and innovation, the fair brought together companies of design of product, software, materials, molds and matrices, of preserves and processes for small seriesas well as engineering, technology centres, associations and universities.

Idinova 2007 was developed together with fair quality, calibration, metrology and Instrumentation (Qualimetrics), the trade fair for water, air, soil and waste, services and technologies (Ecofira) and the comprehensive exhibition of the prevention, protection, safety and occupational health (Laboralia).

The fair also hosted the fourth edition of the Congress innovation and design in SMEs, Inditec, designed to disseminate the culture of the r & d and which dealt with issues such as innovative materials, tools and new machinery and technologies of last generation. He participated rapporteurs in order to "convey their experience and knowledge, describe what aspects can enable how to innovate and become more competitive, and show practical cases of product development". To this end, the Congress attended responsible for the area of design firms such as Sony, rock, Indus and laboratories Puig, designers like Alberto Liévore; experts in innovation (Alfons Cornella, Marco Van Hout or Robert Bau), and even designers of videogames as Gonzo Suárez.

In this line, Dutchman Marco Van Hout, an active member of the society Design & Emotion, where it is responsible for promoting the recruitment of project, commitment to "take advantage of the experience of the user to incorporate it into the design". Van Hout, expert in emotional design, applied his knowledge to improve services and brands. At the same time, Inditec organized round-table and workshop, which analysed "cases of business success".

During the last edition of Idinova, Guzmán polymers presented its new catalogue of products for the plastics industry.

Although the distribution of raw materials is their main activity, Guzmán polymers represents in Spain various reference marks of machinery for the transformation of plastics, such as Rapid Granulator (mills), Wemo (robots) and Main Tech (feeding, dosing and dehumidification devices) among others.

New in this Edition, during the days of exposure was in operation a fully electric injection of the Japanese firm Fanuc machine. Fanuc Roboshot machines with a range from 5 tonnes to 300 tonnes, conform perfectly to any application that requires a maximum degree of precision, consistency and availability.
