Wittman has introduced to the market the new servo robot model W721-UHS (Ultra High Speed), designed specifically to extract parts of machines of moulds up to 300 tonnes of clamping force more quickly. This model has a capacity of up to 5 kg load, allows the implementation of functions of grip more complex. Depending on the load and the distances, the time of removal of the pieces is of approximately of 0.3 to 0.5 seconds.

To maintain effective and long term short removal time, the vertical axis moves directly through pine nuts attached to a large toothed belts. This ensures the direct shipment of the driving force to the axes on the move at the time that minimizes the masses of the moving parts. W721-UHS robots are equipped with a vertical axis of up to 1,000 mm and are suitable for the placement of parts in peripheral equipment or tapes.

For the mechanical absorption of high accelerations and decelerations of 6 g forces, the vertical axis is designed with one carrerea "kick" extremely stable internally reinforced with "rips". The vertical axis is the aluminium profile, which on the basis of calculations of "finite elements" is designed for light weight and strength. This combination guarantees greater rigidity of the axes on the move at the time that minimizes the masses, saving tenths of a second in the time of extraction, in the end can determine the success or economic failure of a project.

Like other Wittmann robot of the 7 series, the new robot UHS offers numerous standard versions. Integrated control cabin is mounted after the horizontal axis to save space and allows the electrical connection of external I/O modules via a bus to the direct control of all the peripheral equipment attached. Several optional packages are available to increase the number of circuits of vacuum gripper and rotary axes. The control in the cabin can be easily relocated with internal I/O modules for the implementation of complex gripper functions.
