Rapid manufacturing technologies increase the competitiveness of SMEs
The goal of the day was conduct a comprehensive dissemination of these technologies and present the pilot projects carried out in ten SMEs in the sector of the plastic and metal.
The day in the Hotel Parc Vallès, Cerdanyola del Vallès, featured the massive presence of more than 90 participants, mainly from industrial enterprises, research centres, and universities.
The event was opened by Javier López Luján, Aserm President and CEO of the Ascamm Foundation, who thanked the presence Ana Elena Romero and Fernando of the Tower of the service of support to SMEs, the Diputación General de AragónHe welcomed the participants and recalled the mission with the Association, finally appreciating the effort and the cooperation of all companies and entities involved in the project Flexman.
Then Felip Esteve Oró, director of the Aserm, recalled the main objectives of the Association, ongoing activities and presented the new project of international dimension that is going to lead the so-called Association: "Flexform (Rapid Manufacturing applications using incremental deformation in the automotive sector)." He recalled that the Association is open to all natural or legal persons related with the Rapid Manufacturing environment.
Ten case studies were carried out by the enterprises and Aserm: Aida, Aiju, Aimme, AITIIP, Ascamm, Coproin, CTAG, Epsa, Idelt and ULPGC.
