Fagor Automation, s.coop. in the 2006 BIEMH
There are two programming languages, the conversational Fagor which is specially designed for the machining of individual parts and the programming language ISO which is more suitable for machining of lots of pieces. The operator can select the most appropriate language in every moment.
The main novelties exhibited are the 8055 CNC:
- Dark grey keyboard
- USB connector for connection with Pen-drive (flash memory)
- Solid state disk of up to 2 GB, replacement of the current MemKeyCard of 24 MB to store programs piece.
- Access Explorer type programs piece.
This provision facilitates the work of the operator, allowing a more easily select any program stored in the own CNC or any external device (USB, Ethernet, etc.)
This CNC that is widely represented in applications of great lines of production due to its ease of installation, programming and operation, also includes improvements in the machining process, in the profile, in the search for block editor, as well as in the manual replacement and inspection tools.
New cycles of focused piece and hole with transducer in models of milling machine and machining with the axis "and" lathe models are some of the new features that incorporate these models.
The company also exposes stand systems of attraction of high resolution and a wide range of digital drive (Sercos and can't) for control of axis and headers.
You can control up to 4 heads and 28 axes interpolated simultaneously, and has 4 channels of implementation. All movements not involved in the machining of the piece, such as feeders, lunettes and counterpoints, are configured as independent axes so that their displacement run freely, not interrupting the machining of the piece.
Its backward compatibility allows you to edit machining programmes drawn up in the CNC Fagor 8040, 8050 and 8055, not being necessary to return to schedule these pieces for the 8070 CNC. It is also possible to subsequently use these programs on other machines in the workshop that are equipped with CNC 8040 and 8050, 8055.
With new algorithms improved machining at high speed and the combined use of splines and polynomial transitions, incorporating CNC, it improves the quality of machining, getting cut speeds higher, softer contours, better surface quality and greater accuracyfaithfully reproducing the surface programmed with the most demanding quality tolerances.

Models of the new series Innova are intended for different applications, according to the models:
- 10i and 20i for general applications and grinders; for one or two axes.
- 20i-M and 30i-M for milling machines; two and three axles.
- 20i-T and 30i-T for lathes; two and three axles.
