Germany approaches to the record of sales of the manufacturers of machinery of rubber in 2013

The manufacturers of machines of plastics and rubber of Germany finished 2013 with sales underneath of 1%. Like result, the volume of business in the manufacture of machinery of core fell only slightly underneath of the most recent record of 6,5 million euros. “The result of the exercise is very on line with our forecasts”, said Ulrich Reifenhäuser, president of the Association of plastics and rubber VDMA. “In the fair K 2013 predicted that the sales of the industry would be marginally underneath of the level of 2012”.

“In the year in his group, the requests entrantes coincide exactly with the total of the previous year, although with an upward trend”, commented Thorsten Kühmann, general director of the association. ”The demand of the foreigner on the other hand stabilised , especially in the second half of the year. It is grato observe in this context that the tax of growth of the requests of countries of the zone euro accelerated marcadamente", added.

The external deliveries went back to increase. In the period of November 2013 were 4,1% above the level of the previous year, remaining the exports near of a new record of some 4,6 million euros. This does that the quota of export was marked above 70% again. “The main markets of south export of Asia - Indian, Indonesia and Thailand - are experiencing a pause in the growth. Inside the EU, the reports of our members confirm the taxles of growth of the exports to Italy, Spain and Portugal", said Ulrich Reifenhäuser.

The semiannual survey of the economic tendencies that realizar between the companies members of the Association shows a big optimism in the start of 2014. The demand of machinery for plastics and rubber collected in the second semester of 2013, and the demand of Western and Oriental Europe and of North America in the current semester considers very favourable. There is confidence in the German market and also expects the recovery of the growth in Latin America. The only important reservations in the actuality refer to the markets of Asia, with the exception of China. “In base to the forecasts of the Association, expect that the sales grow in 6% to 6,9 million euros in 2014”, concludes Ulrich Reifenhäuser.
