Siemens will purchase Thesis PLMware, improving his wallet of software for the industry

Siemens has signed an agreement to purchase Thesis PLMWare, company recognised in integration of software for the management of the cycle of life of the product (PLM) with other business applications. The acquisition will improve even more the portfolio of solutions of software for the industry of Siemens. Thesis PLMWare help to the customers to improve the costs of IT and the efficiency when providing a solution tested for the integration of Teamcenter of Siemens with the systems ERP pioneers in the world and other business applications like MONTH, CRM and SCM. Thesis PLMWare, after the closing of the process, will integrate in Siemens PLM Software, unit of business of Siemens Industry Automation Division. The agreement includes the acquisition of the headquarters of Thesis PLMWare GmbH in Munich and his business in EE UU. The terms of the acquisition will not be spread.

The integration of the software in the companies, particularly the interoperability PLM/ERP, is fundamental to attain the continuous and efficient flow of the information that need the companies to keep the costs under control and keep on being competitive. With the acquisition of Thesis PLMWare, an important partner of Siemens PLM Software from 1992, Siemens will help to ensure to his customers the perfect assimilation of the portfolio Teamcenter PLM in the global development of his products and surroundings of manufacture.
