The new sensor of vision of area recognises pieces without classifying in a cestón, locates them in three dimensions and reenvía precise information of the position to the robot. The sensor of area of vision Fanuc no longer requires any transition between the pre-recognition 2D and the research fine-tuned in 3D.
The sensor is integrated in the controller Fanuc R-30iB and locates directly the data of position in 3D of one or several pieces. This facilitates the configuration and especially, accelerates the cycle of work. In function of the operative and characteristic parameters of the application, the robot receives his information until 50% faster.
Since there is an only sensor, the typical applications of collected in cestón are quite less complex. Positioned on the cestón, the sensor is very protected and thanks to the function anti-integrated collision in the controller R-30iB, avoids the accidental contact of the same with the robot.

To ensure this Fanuc has developed his option Secondary Encoder, a combination of software and technology of sensors of measurement.
This option complements the encoders traditional with additional units, making possible measure and compensate the holguras and the mechanical deformation (depending on the load and temperature). This allows to the robot measure his deviation of the location programmed and correct to the correct position, ensuring an absolute positioning.
