Xiran IZ And Polyscope carry to the K some innovative terpolímeros
29 July 2013
Polyscope, producer of copolymers of styrene and maleic anhydride (SMA), adds a third dimension to its portfolio with the manufacture of terpolymers containing styrene, anhydrous maleic and N-fenilmaleimida. These new products are marketed under the brand IZ Xiran degrees.
The two new degrees, Xiran IZ1018M and Xiran IZ0721M, are designed to increase the high heat of the transformation of many technical plastics. Its development responds to increasing the tendency of plastic industry, to create technical plastics with high resistance and low volatile residues. The new degrees Xiran IZ keep a glass transition (tg) temperature of 175 ° C or higher and they can be exposed to a transformation of high temperatures with excellent ability to be mixed with polymers estirénicos like ABS. This polymer has a high thermal stability and excellent properties of adhesion due to the presence of groups of maleic anhydride, whose result is an optimum balance between profitability, mechanical properties and thermal improvement.
In comparison with similar materials that are on the market, the degrees of Xiran IZ get a high level of efficiency, both for the increase of efficiency of high heat of technical plastics and for having very low levels of debris. This is especially relevant for the styrene as the ABS.
