Kennametal Receives the prize ‘Excellent Supplier Performance' of hands of Parker Hannifin

Likewise, Kennametal helped to increase the cycle of life of the plaquitas of cut in the machining centres and in the carcasas of smelting for pumps of gears. The tools of feeding/milling of precision were redefined saving 85 hours of mechanised and diminishing in a 50 percent the frequency of the exchanges of plaquitas of cutting.
Both projects were implemented in 2011, basing in the initiative of Process of Continuous Improvement of Parker Hannifin, that forms part of the agreements on a long-term basis of the providers of Parker Hannifin, and the stability of the process was controlled and supervised during all the year 2012. Once confirmed the savings of cost, Parker Hannifin proposed to award to Kennametal like provider in terms of excellence. Another example of how Kennametal fulfils with his commitment that his customers are each more competitive day.
The prize presented on 14 January 2013 by part of Parker Hannifin Pump & Engine Division Europe in Chemnitz, in addition to by Marcus Arnold, boss of tools and indirect materials; Nadja Groschupf, boss of acquisitions; and Ludwig Gobsch, boss of technology of manufacture/production adjusted. Wolfgang Haehnel, specialist in application, Manfred Seliger, boss of sales and general engineering of east Germany, represented to Kennametal Deutschland GmbH in the ceremony of prizes and thanked Parker Hannifin by this excellent recognition.
