LVL presents at K2007 Latamid and Latiglos, two products based on a (PA66) polyamide reinforced up to 60 per cent of glass fibre, which guarantees a mechanical resistance comparable to aluminum.
The breaking load of about 220 MPa, is a value next to various metals and alloys. The company also highlights its chemical resistance, hardness and resistance to impact. Latamid formulations are suitable for the manufacture of pneumatic valves, lids and actuators for the termosanitario sector and regulators, and high-performance mechanical pumps. For its part, Latiglos offers the same mechanical and thermal characteristics as Latamid but presents a better surface finish, as it eliminates the aesthetic imperfections by the presence of glass or carbon fibres. Latiglos is available in aluminum and copper so that the plastic pieces of metal.
