PP with loads: it can substitute PA 6 30% fibre of glass and PBT 30% fibre of glass
plastic Agents, S.L. It presents in the Spanish market the compound of special PP with fibre of glass ‘Polyfill HC'. It treats of a material that can substitute in a lot of applications to PA 6 with fibre of glass.
The secret of this compound resides in three appearances: a special process of polymerisation to produce a basic material of high cristanilidad, a fibre of short glass with a special superficial treatment and some agents of attachment highly effective.
Substituting a PA 6 30% fibre of glass of 1ª quality by a Polipropileno Polyfill HC 30% fibre of glass, obtain the following advantages: decrease of weight: 18% less heavy, what supposes logistical and energetic savings; similar mechanical properties; similar contraction (can employ the same moulds); the same speed of injection having the mould refrigerated; temperatures of injection 12% inferior, what supposes a considerable energetic saving; better properties to the intemperie; it does not need to condition in water or with humidity, what involves energetic savings and of processes and finally, global cost lower, in addition to a lot of technical advantages and of production.
