Broaches Of hard metal: for taladrado of deep holes to high speed

Picture of Broaches Of hard metal
The technology XD (XD “extremely deep”- means extremely deep) of Walter allows the taladro of holes of 70 x diameter in an operation without relief, in steels, foundries and materials no férreos. Up to now, the standard rank of broaches XD reached the 30 x D being able to expand with special versions for the customer. Now this limit is expanding . Already it is available for the taladrado deep of 40 x D the standard range of broaches X·treme D40. This tool is based in the most recent and advanced technology of production with a coating in the tip TiALN to obtain a long useful life.

More characteristic are the channels of inner refrigeration for an optimum dissipation of heat and evacuation of reliable shaving, to all adds some channels of evacuation of shaving polishings and four guides to keep the broca exactly in the planned course.

All these characteristics guarantee a high degree of reliability in the process, even with taladros bent or transversal holes.

It is not necessary a high pressesure of the system of refrigeration. To penetrate of axial form in the material of continuous form only needs a pressesure of refrigerante of 40 bar, normal in any centre of mechanised.

The technology XD is upper to the classical broaches cannon.

For example, in the mechanised of some stems of piston for the hydraulics industry of ST52-3, achieved an increase of useful life of tool of more than 300%. In this case the advance and the savings of time were 400% higher. Walter caters in his standard range the broaches of taladrado deep in the rank of diameters more used of 4,5 to 12 mm. The typical applications of use in which they are required frequently these diameters are in the mechanised general and in the hydraulics industry and of automotive sector. Also they are available other diameters, even with special intermediate sizes, in special version.
