In spite of the endurecimiento of the legislation in matter of hygiene of processes, follow occurring accidents with an alarming regularity. Fortunately, in occasions, the consequences do not involve human lives but in others, as in the case of the accidents of Flixborought, Texas-City, Imperial Sugar or Flours Carries (Huesca), the consequences are in shape of big economic losses for the company, bad image of mark and, what is worse, loss of human lives.
For incidir in the prevention Bequinor has organised the day ‘Lessons learnt of accidents in industries of process', that will celebrate on 21 February in the hotel NH Alcalá, of Madrid. Through this day pretends give to know recent accidents in detail (explosions of gases, sequipment, dusts and chemical reactions), show the profits to study in depth the accidents and to extract the suitable information, as well as know the distinct measures of prevention and protection that had helped to warn the accident or to paliar his consequences, splitting of an evaluation of risks adapted and of a Base of consistent hygiene.
The day is directed especially to engineers and responsible of hygiene, health and environingingment of the industries of process (chemical, petrochemical, pharmacy, agroalimentaria…) that are involved in the development of projects and in the identification of dangers, as well as to engineers of process and of instrumentation of the industries of process.
