The associations value that the new Law of Waste bet by the packagings of cardboard, paper and wood

<*p>The Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Containers and Packagings of Cardboard Ondulado (*Afco), the Spanish Federation of the wooden Container and his Components (*Fedemco) and the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Containers, Packagings and Transformers of Cardboard (*Aspack) celebrate that the new Law of Waste involve the creation of a group of skilled work. This group will analyse/analyze the introduction generalised/generalized and gradual in the chain of commercial distribution of containers and sustainable packagings, as the ones of paper, cardboard and wood.

<*p>Responsible of these entities gathered at the beginning of November in the Financial Club *Génova, of Madrid, to analyse/analyze the law, that went in in force the past 28 July. They regret, however, that the rule have not gone further of the creation of the skilled group and trust that the public administrations develop new measures more ambitious and concrete in this line.

<*p>In the meeting, Fernando *Trénor, general secretary of Fedemco signalled the “need to harmonise/harmonize the different normative of the autonomous communities in matter of recycling”. By his part, Pablo *Serrano, general secretary of *Aspack, wanted to matizar that ”although it is true that for the first time recognises/recognizes in a law to the sustainable packagings, also is it that it still remains a lot of way for visiting". Ignacio Car, general secretary of *Afco, added that "we speak of a sector that has invested a lot of resources in R&D, configuring a modern industry, *vanguardista, with a big development of new and modern solutions and a technology that is in first row to world-wide level. Therefore they are packagings leaders in all the fields”.
