More than 12,000 companies will have to present the statement of packaging

February 28, concludes the term so that 12.175 companies submit their Declaration of packaging for the last year. These are the companies adhering to the integrated system of management of Ecoembes, jointly operating in 90% of the containers circulating a year on the market in all Spain.
The materials of the packaging and wrapping managed by Ecoembes which adhered companies should disaggregate information are: steel, aluminum, plastic PET and Hope (rigid body and reusable bag standard une), flexible plastics, paper and cardboard, cardboard for drinks and food (type brick)ceramic, wood and Cork and other materials. Adhered companies pay a fee by the volume of these materials put on the market and more expensive for which they are made of flexible plastic and other materials (0,472 euros per kilogram of packaging) and more affordable to the ceramics (0.02 euros per kilo) and wood and Cork (0,021 EUR per kilo).
This year, for the first time in 12 years of history of Ecoembes affiliated companies do not receive a CD with the forms for filing the Declaration, they must download directly from the web. To this end, all affiliated companies have received a username, password and a card of coordinates. The statements of packaging may transact over the internet by applying Ecosoft 14.0.
