Strong betting Italy by SIL 2010

SIL will register the greater involvement of Italian enterprises in history. The Italian logistics sector will make a joint presentation at Sil 2010 with a pavilion of 500 square meters, where it will be represented in the distribution sector and transport of the transalpine country. In this way, Italy has elected Hall of Barcelona as a key place to establish business and contacts in Spain, as the reference for the sector in the Mediterranean.
For the first time, the SIL will feature the participation of two of the most important Italian associations: Assoporti, the Association of Italian ports which brings together 23 port authorities and some Chambers of Commerce, and UIR (Unione Interporti Riuniti), the Italian Association that brings together 24 dry ports with the intention to consolidate and develop intermodality of transport and logistics and to promote the Exchange by means of the 'tierra-mar' cluster.
Similarly, Ligurian Ports, Tuscan Ports and the port authorities of Sicily (Palermo, Messina and Augusta) will have presence at Sil 2010 inside the Italian Pavilion. In the Sicilian stand is planned a large presence of operators and port companies as in the case of Termini has New Port Spa, OSP, SudItalia Terminal Operator, Grandi Navi speeds, EST European Servizi Terminalistici and Palermo Euro Terminal.
Cagliari port authority will present the 2010 Sil, for the first time, and jointly with the University of Cagliari, an area of demonstration dedicated to the simulation of cranes for containers, with a virtual instrument of analysis for the implementation of the security and productivity in the interior of the container terminals.
To complete the maritime programme, RAM Spa will show in this issue a number of projects to assess the strategic role that play the motorways of the sea as an element of Euro-Mediterranean integration, with the prospect of a free trade area.
On the other hand, the logistics of Campania, Italy will also be strongly represented in the international logistics and maintenance in Barcelona.
