SSI SCHÄFER carries out storage of the Grupo Temper facilities
The company deposited their confidence in the group ssi schäfer to automate its logistic facilities. The installation of a system composed of several types of shelves and a separate loft has been studied for the implementation of the project. The supply of shelves has consisted of a system for pallets PR 600, a "shelving" R 3000 system and a system of dynamic shelving KDR.
SSI SCHÄFER design an installation of 253 modules shelf PR600 with heights between 5 and 8.8 m for the storage of pallets and special containers, coils of wire and profiles. 50% Of the installation of palletizing has combined with dynamic shelving KDR, in its lower part for the storage of cardboard boxes. Subsequently, it instalarón 700 modules of picking R3000 with 5 levels for storage of boxes. Some elements have been equipped with doors and drawers forming cabinets for the storage of small material. Finally, SSI SCHÄFER mounted a self-fulfilling mezzanine of 750 square mm for a load of 500 Kg/m2, consisting of structure combined with profiles in cold hot rolled.
The facility has perfectly fulfilled the objectives of the company and has doubled the area of storage in the attic. The optimization of the flexibility of the system, adaptation and use of space have been the main advantages that derive from the new installation. Another solution SSI SCHÄFER adopted in that store, has been a classification of product according to its volume and rate of rotation. For those responsible for Temper Phoenix Ibérica, the results of the project translates into an improvement of the management of distribution to peninsular level.
